Freeway lanes, ramps and a connector will be closed along the 405 Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass next week, Caltrans announced Thursday, as part of an ongoing pavement rehabilitation project.

The closures will go into effect Monday, Oct. 26, and last through Friday, Oct. 30, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. as crews install K-rails and conduct paving work.

Up to two northbound lanes of the 405 will be shut down between Sepulveda and Victory boulevards, and up to four northbound lanes will be closed between Wilshire Boulevard and Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive.

The northbound 405 Getty Center Drive on- and off-ramps will also be closed.

Up to five northbound lanes of the 405 will be closed between Skirball Center Drive/Mulholland Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard.

The Sepulveda Boulevard off- and on-ramp to the southbound 405 will be closed, as will the Burbank Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 405, the northbound Ventura (101) Freeway connector to the southbound 405, and the southbound 101 connector to the northbound 405.

The work is part of the I-405 Pavement Rehabilitation Project between Van Nuys and Westwood through the Sepulveda Pass. The project aims to improve safety and mobility and extend the life of the freeway pavement.
